Position:
Part-Time / Temporary Collections Clerk
The Town of Taylorsville is taking applications seeking an individual with basic office knowledge. Applicant must have basic computer knowledge, be proficient in MS Office Package, type 35+ wpm, have a minimum of 3-5 years experience in a collections role/teller cash drawer management, and excellent communication/customer service skills. Position will work an average 30 hour week on a monthly schedule. Pay will range between $9 - $10 hourly, based on experience. Pre-employment drug test required. Full Time Public Works Employee (1)
The Town of Taylorsville is taking applications seeking an individual familiar with aspects of Municipal Public Works Functions. Experience in the operation of Public Works equipment such as tractor, backhoe, leaf truck, sewer jetting machine, knowledge of pipe fitting, meter replacement, service line repair, and other aspects of water/ sewer system O/M, and customary functions of a Public Utility. The position requires physical strength and the ability to lift in excess of 50 pounds, bending, reaching, and grasping. The applicant must have the ability to interact with the public in a polite, respectful manner on all occasions. Call back and Emergency Hours of Work are required as the need arises. Applicant must also have to ability to obtain an Inmate Supervision Certificate and Water Distribution Certification. Salary based on experience of the applicant.
